A product in the class of equity derivatives that gets its value from an underlying basket of equity securities. These instruments give investors exposure to price movements on an underlying Index. Market participants therefore can profit from the price movements of a basket of equities without trading the individual constituents.
Single Stock Futures
A type of futures contract between two parties to exchange a specified number of stocks in a company for a price agreed today with delivery occurring at a specified future date. SSF give investors exposure to price movements on the underlying share without holding the actual stock.
